There is a big issue regarding a major police force in the UK at the moment which ties in with your post. In 1989 96 football fans were killed at the Hillsborough Stadium in the North of England due to crowd crushing. It’s now been found by a court that they were unlawfully killed by police negligence and the actions the police took. But the police then launched into an almost 20 year campaign of lies about the event falsely blaming the fans. Then the same police force when there was a total scandal about a very large number of young teenage girls being abused in the police’s area was exposed as having not really done anything about the girl’s complaints. It erodes faith in the police definitely.

The 1960s democracy statement “POWER TO THE PEOPLE” must be vigorously readvocated, worldwide.
